Ideas of what to say:
Hey everyone, I just stood up for inerrancy! Here’s what it is and why you should care: http://ow.ly/yc1Ki #bible #jesus
Or
I just signed the petition to support the Bible. You can too! http://ow.ly/yc1Ki
Or
I affirm that the Bible alone, and in its entirety, is the infallible written Word of God in the original text and is, therefore, inerrant in all that it affirms or denies on whatever topic it addresses. Do you believe this? http://ow.ly/yc1Ki
2. Send a good, old-fashioned email to your friends.
Maybe something like the above. Or maybe more like this:
I just heard about the Defending Inerrancy initiative founded by concerned scholars. It was created to combat the erosion of biblical inerrancy within the evangelical community and to defend it from attack from without. Check it out: http://ow.ly/yc1Ki
3. Talk to your friends at church.
Ask your friends if they’ve heard about the evangelical scholars who are trying to redefine inerrancy. Explain how tampering with inerrancy is dangerous because it’s tampering with the very authority of the Bible itself. Tell them there’s a website they can visit to get up to speed on this critical subject—ours!
